The reasons why Fly Flot footwear is so comfortable

Posted on 21 August 2009 by thomaskay

Here at Which Shoes we’re obviously big fans of shoes that are comfortable and easy on your feet. The good people behind Fly Flot have a good 25 years of experience in making lovely comfortable shoes. They’ve been very kind in revealing to us the four secrets behind why they are so comfortable.

1. Fly Flot have Anti Shock - The sole used is thick. It’s also made out of a material that can absorb shock. “Shock absorbing is for cars?” I here you ask. Well, when you have this in a piece of footwear it reduces the foot vibrations you get when you walk. The result of this is it reduces any vibrations you get on your backbone when you walk. So aches and pains you might get in your body when you walk are minimised.

2. Fly Flot are Anatomical - The best way to describe this is squishy. What happens when you wear some flyflots is that they stretch out more around your feet. This increases what’s called your standing base and makes it more relaxing and comfortable to stand. It gives you more stability too.

3. Fly Flot are Light and Self Modelling - The soles used in fly flot shoes are very light. They also will shape to fit around your feet. All feet naturally arch. When you buy a normal shoe it will have soles that have an arch to account for this. What Fly Flot have is a sole that is shaped a bit like this, but then it will actual adjust to be more comfortable when you’re wearing them.

4. Fly Flot are Anti Slip - When you’re walking around, either by the beach or in the slightly unpredictable English weather you might encounter different surfaces. You don’t want a pair of sandals that will slip easily. Well, Fly Flot have thought of this too and created anti-slip technology to give you the confidence to walk firmly without worrying about going flying.

Finding the best shoes to go with designer tights

Posted on 04 August 2009 by thomaskay

A couple of months ago the MET office was predicting a summer full of BBQs. The weather even held up to give 150,000 people a rare and mud free Glastonbury festival. Sadly though, the faithful british summer has returned. But as well as rain, every cloud also has a silver lining. The unfortunate turn in the weather is a great excuse to start looking for the best new designer tights and designer shoes combo. Here at Which Shoes we’re tipping Marco Tozzi as the best designer to look at to line yourself up for the autumn and winter period. You can go daring and sexy and purple, or you can go more classic with black. There are a host of other colours too. These are perfect with designer tights like the aristoc range or pretty polly range.
